Vivo V70 Series Teased in India With New Elite Model and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

Vivo confirms a refreshed flat design, ZEISS cameras, and introduces an Elite variant to the V-series

Vivo has officially started teasing its upcoming V70 series in India, confirming the launch of two smartphones — the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite. This is the first time Vivo is introducing an Elite variant under its V-series lineup.

The V70 series is positioned in the premium mid-range segment, focusing on design, photography, and everyday performance. Vivo has confirmed that the lineup will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, delivering a step up in processing power compared to the previous generation.

Photography remains a core highlight. The V70 series will feature ZEISS-branded cameras, a triple rear camera setup, and AI-powered imaging features. The camera system is expected to include a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x telephoto camera, continuing Vivo’s emphasis on portrait photography.

Teaser visuals reveal a new flat-frame design, moving away from the curved edges seen on the Vivo V60. Both models are tipped to feature a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aligning with current design trends.

The smartphones are expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, offering over a day of use. Vivo is also expected to ship the devices with its latest software and long-term update support.

Vivo V70 Series Teased in India With New Elite Model and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 has not yet confirmed an official launch date for the V70 series. Based on early details, the V70 Elite is likely to be the more performance-focused option, while the standard V70 may serve as a more incremental upgrade.
